One app where the wallet and the conversation around it are the same thing
You've tried more than thirty wallets and found the same gap in all of them: no social layer, too many steps, nowhere to just say what you want done. Chain Wallet puts a non-custodial wallet and an AI-guided chat side by side in one app, sharing one state, so "send 50 USDC to Amara" is as safe as tapping the send button yourself. This locks in the MVP scope and price from our call — ready for your written summary to become the signed SOW.
What we heard on our call
- "There's no social messaging — people shouldn't have to leave a wallet to send a receipt." You've gone through more than thirty wallets, Trust Wallet to Phantom to HashPack, and the complaint is the same everywhere: it's a ledger, not a place you actually live.
- "Let the chat mode be social and let the wallet mode be bank." Two clear modes, one toggle at the top, one shared state underneath — a transfer started in chat shows up in wallet history, and a contact saved in the wallet is usable in chat.
- "This is deeper than just the wallet part — brand development, community building, the whole nine yards." We're scoping the MVP as the first locked phase of a larger roadmap (cross-border payments, bank integrations, community lending circles), not the whole thing at once.
- Security and reputation matter to you personally. You've run two medical practices and are proud of a 4.8+ review average — Chain Wallet needs to earn that same trust, which is why access to funds never leaves the user's device.
- Funding is tied to a 21-day Cosmos ATOM unstake. You're targeting first payment the first week of November; we suggested a mid/late-October kickoff instead so the team isn't idle while that clears — still open for you to confirm.
Two modes, one app
Toggle at the top, same account underneath — nothing you do in one mode is invisible to the other.
The bank
Balances, transfers, swaps, dApps — the parts that touch your assets directly.
- Onboarding, seed phrase, 2FA, biometrics
- Balances & history across 5 chains, contacts by name
- Create tab: tokens, NFTs; Pay tab; basic dApp browser
The social layer
Contacts, groups, messaging, and the AI assistant that understands plain-language requests.
- In-app messaging — text, camera, documents
- Create tab: contacts & groups; same dApp browser
- AI for search, balance questions, "explain this transaction"
A first look
A concept for the look and feel — the dual-mode toggle, the AI chat example from our call, and a Value On Chain landing moment. Concept only — final screens are designed with you in Milestone 1, once we've locked your brand direction.
Non-custodial across five chains, with an AI chat mode that proposes — you always confirm.

Concept only — not the final UI. Real screens, your brand colors and the Value On Chain mark are designed with you in Milestone 1.
What's included in this MVP
- Dual-mode interface, unified backend. Seamless toggle between Wallet and Chat at the top of the app, one account state behind both.
- Non-custodial wallet core. Onboarding, seed phrase, 2FA, biometrics, and the Terms/Privacy/disclosure flows around them.
- Five chains, with derivatives. BNB, Solana, Ethereum, Tron and XRP, plus any token issued on top of them.
- US & Canada fiat on/off-ramp. MoonPay-style integration, so users can buy and cash out without leaving the app.
- Contacts with name-based addressing. Save "Amara" once, never paste a long address again.
- In-app social messaging. Text, camera and document storage, inside Chat Mode.
- Basic dApp browser, available from both modes.
- Create tab basics. Contacts & groups in Chat Mode; NFTs & tokens in Wallet Mode.
- Settings. Help & feedback, security, privacy, archive/tags, light/dark/system theme.
- Pay tab, asset & contact filters, push notifications.
- AI assistant for search and chat — balance questions, transaction explanations, guided sends with a confirmation step. Trading bots and autonomous strategies are a later phase.
What we checked before quoting
A few calls we made on the call, and why.
Non-custodial key management
BIP39 seed generation, per-chain derivation, on-device encryption and signing. This is the same architecture behind our existing Lumo Wallet product, so the hardest layer is proven, not first-time work.
MoonPay-style fiat on/off-ramp
A licensed third party handles the KYC and the money movement — Chain Wallet never touches custody, which keeps you off the hook as a money transmitter.
AI inside a wallet
The model never holds a key or a tool that moves funds — it proposes, code validates against an allowlist, and you confirm every action exactly like a manual send. MVP covers search, chat and guided transfers; trading bots and autonomous strategies come later, deliberately.
WalletConnect listing, lending, cross-border rails
Getting listed on external dApp sites via WalletConnect takes a track record and compliance review, not just code. Collateralized lending and the Africa cross-border/bank-integration vision each need their own licensed partner per market. Both are real, both are next phase, not this one.
Milestones and pricing
Fixed price for the locked MVP scope above. Paid in milestones on Upwork, each released once you've tested and approved it — you don't pay for the next one until you've seen the last.
Architecture, security & UX
Threat model, key-management design, provider selection (chains, MoonPay), wireframes for both modes.
- Written architecture & threat model
- Clickable wireframes, both modes
Core non-custodial wallet
Onboarding, seed phrase, 2FA, biometrics, balances & transfers across all 5 chains, contacts/address book, filters, push notifications.
Chat mode, messaging, dApp browser & AI
Dual-mode toggle on shared state, in-app messaging (text/camera/docs), basic dApp browser, create-tab contacts/groups + NFTs/tokens, AI for search and guided transfers.
Fiat on-ramp, settings, hardening & launch
MoonPay-style US/CA integration, Pay tab, settings, internal security & penetration testing, store/web deployment.
Milestone amounts and the week-by-week split are our own breakdown of the $35,000 you and Abdullah agreed on the call — flag now if you'd rather weight them differently (you mentioned ~35% as a possible first payment). An independent third-party security review ahead of any public launch is strongly recommended and priced separately once we know your launch date.
After launch
Ongoing care once Chain Wallet is live — chain upgrades, dependency and security patches, OS updates, and the attention a wallet needs so you hear about an issue before your users do.
| Plan | What it covers | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Security patches, dependency & OS updates, monitoring | $99/mo |
| StandardRecommended | Essential, plus minor fixes, monthly report, priority response | $199/mo |
| Priority | Standard, plus a monthly bucket of small feature/change hours | $349/mo |
| Ad hoc | Anything outside a plan, billed hourly | $40/hr |
New chains, new features, lending/trading, and the cross-border + bank-integration roadmap are priced as their own phases once you're ready — we'll keep locking and pricing each phase the same way we're doing this one.
When is it done?
What we need from you
- Signed NDA, via Arslan's Upwork profile (sent right after our call).
- Your written project summary, so we can turn this proposal into the signed SOW with milestone dates locked in.
- Kickoff date confirmed — first week of November works around your ATOM unstake, or mid/late October lets the team start while funds clear. Either works; we just need one.
- Compliance, ToS and privacy direction from your counsel, once engaged — we build to the facts (non-custodial, no pooled funds, licensed third parties), your lawyers write the language.
- Brand direction — colors, name treatment, anything beyond the current Value On Chain concept page — for Milestone 1.

How we work
- In-house team, based in Pakistan. The people who build Chain Wallet are the same team you've been talking to — Abdullah and Arslan on blockchain/security, Abu on frontend, nothing subcontracted to a third party.
- One point of contact. Abu stays on every call and owns the relationship day to day.
- Full visibility. An Asana board with every task, so you can see progress any day, not just at milestone demos.
- Weekly updates, with a working build to test as each milestone lands.
- Pay as it's delivered. Fixed-price milestones on Upwork, released only once you've approved the work.
- Everything in your name from commit one — repos, cloud accounts, store listings. You hold the IP and the ownership, as agreed on the call.
Next steps
- Sign and return the NDA via Arslan's Upwork profile.
- Send your written project summary — we'll turn this proposal straight into the signed SOW, scope and milestones locked as above.
- Confirm the kickoff date (mid/late October vs. first week of November) and Milestone 1 starts.
